Translabyrinthine Removal of IAC & CP Angle Neuroblastoma Metastasis, CN XII-VII Anastomosis

Oliver F. Adunka, MD, FACS and Matthew Old, MD perform a pediatric translabyrinthine approach to the cerebello-pontine angle to remove a tumor. This approach is excellent for masses that extend toward the midline or anterior to the pons. In this pediatric patient, the lesion caused complete hearing loss and facial nerve paralysis.
